It all started with the ZCB Bamboo Pavilion ... ...

It seems to be my profound interest to work on natural material since I studied architecture.

After the ZCB Bamboo Pavilion, I started to think about what would my thesis be . 

I thought if I work on Bamboo for the first time, perhaps I should be thinking about another natural material, wood . While wood has been used for a long period of time in the Asia region, such as China, Japan, Korea etc. , wood is also a cultural identity of the Eastern Architecture world , while Bamboo is a cultural identity of the Canton Region. In a world that people started to reject being a global citizen , global architecture, and searching for their own identity, it would be the best chance to restore the glory of the Eastern Wood Architecture to its former glory.
